Ball and Roller Bearing Mounted Units

All the advantages of sealed spherical roller bearings and more... the SPW is designed to replace the split housing SN/SNH pillow blocks. This product is well suited for rugged industries such as forestry, their naturally "dirty" environments and the extremes of climate. The SPW is not to be confused with one-piece pillow blocks that have eccentric/concentric locking collars. These do not feature sealed roller bearings but, like the SNH merely have external seals.

Pillow blocks and flange units are available with either ball or spherical roller bearing inserts.

Designed for general and heavy duty applications with or without relube features. Housings are made of gray cast iron for most applications.

However, pressed steel and special nodular cast iron housings and washdown units, consisting of stainless steel inserts mounted in plastic or stainless steel housings, are available where applicable.

Shaft mounting is by set screw, locking collar or tapered adapter.
